Up to now, the self-driving car hasn't reached full automation level. Key challenges revolve around sensors' performance and price point. Camera/LiDAR performance are dropping in poor visibility and when there is dirt on their lens. LiDAR cost is still very high. Although Radar is the only sensor which works at all weather conditions, with relatively low cost, still its resolution and sensitivity is lagging the other sensors.
AxonPulse pioneering approach for AI & DL radar signal processing takes advantage of hidden features in the radar signals to outperform classical radar algorithms and improve radar perception dramatically, including Targets Super Separation, Super Resolution, VRUs classification and more. Hosted on the Domain Control Unit, AxonPulse’s lean Neural Networks solutions, run on real time and support 2D, 3D and 4D radars.

AxonPulse engaged with various OEMs and T1/T2, and recently won a POC with a big US OEM. In 2020, AxonPulse won second place in the MAFAT radar challenge, where over 1,000 participants from 40 (!) countries were asked to accurately distinguish between a human and an animal. The AxonPulse team is built up from highly talented data scientists, (e.g. Ph.D. from Witsman institute and IDF elite technological units.)
