Our products make otherwise expensive and complicated LiDAR depth technology accessible for mass-market applications across many industries. Newsight’s mission is to develop affordable and accurate sensing solutions for sectors in need of accurate 3D vision. Newsight's sensors are developed in-house and are based on its patented enhanced time-of-flight technology. Our NSI9000 Sensor creates a full matrix of depth points with a resolution 1024 x 480 global shutter pixels. The sensor is completely flexible and is programable for any autonomous application, with a high frame rate that allows accurate results even in a fast-changing environment. The full board design allows AI and IoT connectivity for the sensor and transmitted data, enabling real-time decision support for any application. A feature that was pre-designed into the sensor with the clients’ needs in mind is the event-based capabilities, meaning the sensor uses dynamic event detection and transmits the data only when a change in the pixel is detected. This feature is crucial for lowering the bandwidth, especially for major IoT applications.

In 2022 alone, the company was awarded the Frost and Sullivan 2022 Leadership Award for the leading automotive sensor category and was selected as one of the 100 startups to follow in 2022 by EETimes Magazine. Newsight is also a member of the NVIDIA Inception growth program. The company opened 2023 at the CES exhibition with the signing of an MOU with FIC, First International Computer, that formalizes the collaboration of both parties to work toward co-developing LiDAR solution for Automotive Safety.
